Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

I inherited a portion of a farm along with my two sisters in the event of my fathers death in 2008. This farm is significant in size and is located in Paris Illinois. Checks for the financial payout of this farm are mailed to us quarterly, and in 2009 I recieved close to 24,000$ at years end for my portion of income earned. At the end of 2009 the farm was transfered to a new bank. During 2010 the checks for the farm income started to decrease significantly. I never recieved a check over 1500$ and have contacted the bank on numerous occasions trying to find out why there was such a significant decrease in money. There is always an excuse or explanation on their end but the man I speak to has started to contradict himself in his explanations. The check I recieved at the end of 2009 was 11,000$. The check I just recently recieved for the end of 2010 was $1000. I am unsure of what to do or who to turn to for help in this situation. I earned just over $6000 from this farm in 2010. That is an $18,000 decrease from 2009. This falls way beyond my scope of knowledge and I am in need of legal advice.

I agree. You should contact an attorney directly so that he or she can review the relevant documents and get an accounting from the bank.
