Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
Legal Rights
My grandmother who has passed away left my aunt as executor of the will. My mother who is not mentally fit'' in making any legal decisions has only received approx. 1/3 of her share. My aunt feels that she should hold onto the rest of my mother's money or have a joint savings account with my mother. Do I have any legal rights to any documents? Can I take legal action without my mother being present?

Re: Legal Rights
You, or another responsible person, should seek to be appointed by your local county circuit court as your mother's guardian. Once appointed, the guardian will have the right to enforce your mother's rights with respect to your aunt, and to collect from your aunt all that is due your mother.
