If someone is listed on a house deed as Right of Survivorship does it show their name on the deed while the person is still alive? My mother has me listed as Right of Survivorship on her home. I just checked the parcel on my mother's home, on the county website where she resides and it shows her name with an & symbol with my name. I thought I am not listed until she passes? And what kind of responsibility do I have as an & person listed on the property?

You have to look at a copy of the deed which was recorded to ascertain the exact name in which title is held. Joint tenancy with right of survivorship must be shown on the deed to create a joint tenancy. At your mother's death, you as the surviving joint tenant will become the full legal owner of the property. Right now you have an undivided half interest in the property as a joint owner.
