Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Missing in action...

I'm in Virginia. The attorney in Chicago, Illinois that handled my late aunts estate won't return my calls for more than a year. I sent a certified letter 3 weeks ago. What should I do? Get a lawyer or investigator in Chicago?

Sounds like getting an attorney to represent your interest is a good idea anyway, but if the attorney handling the estate is being difficult, then you really should get an attorney. Let me know if you have any further questions

Unfortunately, you are left with engaging new counsel. Give me a call if you like so we can discuss where the case stands and how to keep you cost of wrapping it up under control. (www.myestateplan.net)

It can be very frustrating when you are on the outside and don't know what's going on and you get no response. With some basic information from you I can find out more about the situation and we can evaluate it. You probably need independent counsel -- if it's not too late.

Give me a call or drop me a line
