money considered estate
my stepfather gave us a loan in august of 2005 in december of 2005 he died. his brother is trying to say that this money would be considered his estate and they are entitled to it. since it was before he died is this considered to be true.

If a loan was given by a person who later dies, the loan is payable to the estate of that person.
