Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My mother died in 1986, and my father remarried. He has now passed away. We found an insurance policy that list my mother as beneficiary. There is no will, so will the proceeds go to his surviving children or current wife?

Not necessarily. Since there is no named beneficiary who survived you need to read the policy to determine who the default beneficiary is. www.legacylaws.com
