Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
My mother in law died in 2009..her daughter claimed everything was left to her, but my husband and his brother never saw any paperwork..what can they do at this point?

Under the general rule of Illinois law, all claims against an Estate are barred two years after the date of death, whether or not a court proceeding (Probate) has been initiated. It would be very difficult to overcome this general rule, and the person moving forward to complain would have to prove their case.
