My mother passed away in mid Jan. My sister is executor. I have not been give a copy of the will or the name of the attorney handling the estate. Should these items be made available to me. I feel she is trying to hide something from me.

The will should be a matter of public record. Check with the clerk of court in the probate division of the county in which you mother resided on the date of her death.

If the will is probated (subject to a court proceeding) you are required to be provided notice of the pendency of any court case.

Start by asking the clerk of court for a copy of the will.
