i want to offer a sibling a buy out of my mothers home which is in trust between my sibling and I. if the sibling does not accept the verbal offer, am I bound to accept it back from him as their buy out offer

Any offer should be made in writing and should have an expiration date after which the offer will be considered rejected or void. Then, if renewed interest is expressed, you can start over again with a new written offer. A written offer should be accepted only in writing.
