Who owns the car?

My father recently passed away, and he had recently purchased a vehicle which we discovered the loan was cosigned by someone other than a relative. Do we return the vehicle to the dealer?,the cosigner? or has it become a part of his estate,and we are responsible for the payments? Thank You!

There are two separate issues: Ownership of the car is determined by the name on the title. Liability for payment is determined by who signed the promissory note. So without looking at those two documents, it is impossible to answer your questions.
