Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
who owns the house:
my ex wifes father passed away 7 years ago. her mother passed recently from demetia. she was the only child from her dad. he did not attopt the 4 kids. she has her fathers last name. this man was a higherly decorate ww2 veteran. they sold his medals at a garage sale. my ex does not want a dime from this as do i. to the best of my knowledge the will was changed to lock her out. we see a lawyer on tuesday, about my will. have very little family and leaving it to her. thank-you.

Wait to see what the lawyer tells you. Unless there's a valid basis for contesting the will, it's likely to hold up.
