A will can nominate one or more persons to act as co-executors, and the Court will usually respect that. However, by doing so, you may subject an innocent co-executor to a court dispute regarding a bad co-executor's actions. Beneficiaries of an Estate have certain rights, even if each are not appointed as Executor. It is usually best to appoint one loved one to act at a time. However, there are exceptions to every rule.
