Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
Preparer of will/trust also listed as beneficiary
In the State of Illinois, can a lawyer prepare a will/trust if he or she is listed as beneficiary in said documents and does this apply if preparer is also a family member of the parties for which the documents are written?

He can prepare it if is a beneficiary and/or a family member but he can not act as a witness to the will.
