Property after parents death

Both my parents passed away, I have been told there is a will by my sisters.Both sisters have been removing my parents belongings from the home, what are my rights or what can I do to stop this?

You need to get a temporary restraining order immediately. It can be a global restraining order against everyone, until the court can figure out what's going on. One can be entered within a day.

If there is a will, it must be filed with the probate clerk of the county where your parents resided within 30 days of each person's death.

I would advise you to speak with a probate attorney immediately to determine your rights and what can be done to stop your sisters from removing property that may not belong to them.

If you don't know of an attorney, call your county Bar Association. They will be able to provide you with a referral.
