I received a summons for a real estate matter in which I have no interest as far as I know. How do I prove that it is a case of mistaken identity?

An affidavit will usually suffice and proof of who you are. Contact the attorney. He or she is not interested in suing the wrong person and will likely dismiss you from the case.
