Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois
I have a Revocable Living Trust. After my husband died in 2005, I am sole owner of the Trust. I need to know how I would go about amending the beneficiary children meantioned in the trust, from 5 to 4. Can I type up an amendment to omit one son. without having to go to a lawyer to do it. and How do I do it. With out rewriting the whole Revocable Living Trust.

It is not a good idea to try to amend your own estate planning documents. Nobody can properly advise you how to do it without reviewing the document(s) and the situation.
Depending upon what the trust document provides, even though the word "Revocable" is in the title, the right to make changes may have ended when your husband died.
As the prior answer says, no one can advise you how to modify a trust instrument without reviewing the original document.
