My son's father died of medical negligence
My son who is 10 years old lost his father to medical negligence. A law suite has been filed by his wife and is about to be settled. She informed me that my son was listed to share in the suite. My question is will all of his portion go in to a trust or we be given some now gor living expenses?

You should seek the advice of an attorney immediately to determine yours and your son's rights under the settlement of the law suit.
Since your son is a minor, the court will require a guardian to oversee the distribution to your son.
