Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

my uncle passed away with no realistate but some small lawn care equipment. my father has a decision to make as far as being excecutor of estate. what legal advise is there for him to do or not to do it? will he be liable for my uncles bills if everything is sold at auction ? If he puts all money towards my uncles bills after auction expense etc is liable for anything?

Your father needs to seek legal advice, not you.

As a general rule, however, executors, if they do what they're supposed to do, are not liable for estate debts.
