right to view a will

Do I have a legal right to view my fathers will? My sister is the executor and will not let me and my siblings view the will without contacting her attorny.

Re: right to view a will

By law, a will must be filed with the county in which the person died, or resided. Therefore, the will is public record.

Contact the clerk of court (probate division) in the applicable county. If your sister filed it (as she is required to do), you will be able to obtain a copy of the will.
