View a will
Hi,
I live in Missouri and want to view a WILL of a person who died 10-20 years ago in Springfield, Il. How do I go about that? Is it legal for me to have that information

Yes it is legal for you to view the will.
You have to go to the probate court of the county where the will was filed. The will have the original

Call thwe courthouse in Springfield. ( It is legal)

I would suggest that you visit or contact the Probate Court in Sangammon County (Springfield). If the Will was filed, it is a matter of public record and you shold be able to see it or obtain a copy. Good luck.
