Last Will and Testament

I, the Executor of the property my mother left. I would like to sign over full ownership of said property to my sister. My moms name is still on the Deed. Would an Affidavite to this affective give my sister ownership?

There are both probate and gift tax issues involved in this. Depending on the situation, there are several different avenues this could go down. You should speak with an attorney and give them the full details to get the most appropriate answer.
