Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My mother has a revocable living trust. She has made me co-trustee. She has a will included in the trust papers that distributes assets equally. She now whats to cut one child out due to lifestyle issues that she does not approve of. Does she need to make an ammendment to change distribution instructions? And how does this affect me as co-trustee? I know her wished as I am the closest to her and care for her. She wants me to ultimate decision making. Does being co=trustee do this for me?

She needs to amend it. Have her talk to her attorney about this.
