Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

wills in different countries

I used to live in the U.S. and had one will drawn up for my assets and property in the U.S. After retiring, I moved to India and now have another will there for my assets and property there. Some people have told me that it is illegal to have two different wills and that i need to find an internationally licensed lawyer to consolidate both wills. Is this true and how easy is it to find that type of lawyer?

Generally speaking, the last will you sign is the only one which is valid. Usually, your will states that you revoke all other wills and codicils. I am not aware of an "international" attorney license.
