Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Witness to a Will

There was a 1992 Will made with all heirs listed, and in 1995 it was changed and only one benifited. Uncle had alzheimers, and that was the early stages. There is some eveidence the heir became friends with the attorney and some of the standard practice was not followed. Can the attorney who draws up the Will, be one of the witness to the Will? there were only two and the other was his secretary.

No, from what you've said, it sounds like the second will was not properly executed and you may have a basis for contesting it. If you are one of the heirs under the first will, you need to get an attorney (the other heirs can join you in this) and contest it.
