Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

1. I am a letter carrier. I was struck down by a motorist while crossing the street, while working. I haven't received salary for over 2 months or workmen comp. Is it standard practice to have an attorney speed your case? 2. Will I have to pay attorney fees? 3. If I file a lawsuit against the motorist, will I have to repay workmen comp if they ever start to pay me? Lwms6

Please repost and clarify what you mean by stnadard practice. Yes, you will have to repay comp. I suggest that you lawyer up and contact a local attorney to discuss all of these matters.
