Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

The attorney I had has left the practice. If I don' t like the attorney the practice assigned me, can I change firms?

You certainly can change firms. Your prior lawyer may be entitled to some compensation for work performed, but that will depend on what was done and how long that attorney had your case.
