Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
I broke my finger at work (all documented). I have had surgery to repair the finger, but have 90% permanent loss of use of the finger (doctor certified). Roughly, how much is a finger valued at? I have also been off of work for 2 months - i make approx. 60,000/year and I was denied workman's comp.

In order to more accurately answer your question please explain why the claim was denied (what was the "reason" they gave for the denial).
It would be helpful to know what kind of work you were doing at the time of the accident, if you notified your employer of the accident, how long after the accident before you first received medical care, how long ago the accident occurred and which finger.
If the claim was not denied it would be a lot easier to answer your question.

Dear Sirs,
A workmen's compensation case will provide compensation based upon the requirement of the Illinois Workmen's Compensation schedules. These provide a scale for the part of the body injured and the nature and extent of the injuries sustained.
Please call us to discuss more specifically the facts of your incident.
Best wishes,
