Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
Carpal tunnel compensatoin
I have been on work comp for almost 12 weeks and I am getting ready to go back to work. I had carpal tunnel surgery done on both hands in November, 2004. I have heard that after you are released to go back to work, you go to a hearing and that you are possibly compensated for your injury. Is this true and if so could you give me an idea of the amount that I could be looking for? Several people that I know who has had the same surgery done has told me that they received around $10,000 per hand.
