Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

company truck

My boyfriend uses the company pickup truck as a personal vehicle outside of work. This was the agreement in lieu of raises. He has been injured on the job, but is currently doing a different job while there. If they remove him from work do to his injury, what are his rights?

If he has a pending workmen's compensation he cannot be removed due to his injury.
