Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
How much can I expect to get in illinois for a ppd payment if, I am 25, fell at work(firefighter), medial meniscus tear. Athroscopic surgery to remove damaged cartillage. And grind away damaged bone on patella, remove cyst from torn cartilage. Therapy for a month afterwards. Missed work for 10 weeks returned without restriction.. I was told by guys I work with what they received for similar or not as involved injury what they got. I imagine mine would be higherfue to young age a need for a greater future medical sum. Thanks for your time

An attorney cannot answer such a complicated question over the internet.
You need to hire an attorney to get you the best settlement possible and if you already have an attorney stop second guessing them.
Hearsay from "the guys at work" is just gossip... take it as so.
Dear Sirs,
The answer to you question will depend on your work status once you return to work and whether any work restrictions will be permanent. Also, the nature and extent of the injury and its how it affects your ability to perform your job will need to be considered as well.
If you have not hired a lawyer, we would suggest you contact our office. (312) 977--9900.
Many thanks,
