Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

I currently have Fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, degenerative disk disease with hernations. Work exacerbates my symptoms terribly. Can I file a WC claim for this?

Yes-You should be able to file a WC claim. I would not recommend you do this on your own because if you had pre-existing conditions, the WC insurance will try to pin all your symptoms on that and argue that your injuries are not work related. You must be careful how you present your claim so as to make sure that the WC insurances' argument won't get anywhere.

I would highly recommend you seek the help of an attorney who knows who to do this before you make your claim. If you want my office's help, feel free to call or write. First consultation is always free and we work on a contingency basis so you will not incur any out of pocket expense.

I hope this helps-
