Re: What is Injury Worth??

That is no simple answer. It appears you had a previous back injury that has been settled when the Insurance company called you. You now have a second/new injury. It is not unusual for the insurance company to want to settle operated back cases quickly. By getting you to sign Settlement Papers (pinks) the insurance company closes your file and has no more liability. They like to do this on cases where there may be additional medical treatment and possible additional surgeries.

But not all insurance companies call or want to settle if they are confident you are not in need of additional medical treatment.

The value of your claim depends on the part(s) of the body that are affected and the amount of you average weekly wage at the time of injury. This can be a somewhat complicated mathmatical formula, so you/I need all the figures that are used in the formula to determine value. If I can be of service , you are invited to call me.
