Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
is my lawyer entitled to a portion of my workmens compensation income or only if a settlement is reached?
what if i feel my lawyer is not justly representing me?

They should only get 20% of the final settlement unless there is a real dispute over your TTD benefits. You can switch lawyers and the total cost will never be more than 20%.
