Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
I was placed on light duty for a WC injury yesterday and I was supposed to work 7P-7A 12 hours but was told not to come in because they didn't have light duty available. I am supposed to work tonight and they told me they found light duty for me which is fine but they want me to use my sick time for wed or work on saturday which is not my scheduled day to work?

NO!! The law does NOT require you to use your sick time. They need to pay you under workers' compensation for not providing light duty. Call if you need represenation. 630/264-0671.
