Re: How long do i have

You have three years from the date of accident or two years from the date of the last payment of compensation. However, it is not wise to wait till some deadline approaches. A critical service that a lawyer provides to a client during the course of a workers' compensation claim is medical management. The insurance company will attempt to have to seen by doctors of their choice. That results in developing evidence which may not be favorable to you or may minimize your injury. Also, if you file a case later, you may find yourself waiting in a long line to get a trial as there will be a number of cases older than yours that will get more attention. If you want some help with your case, feel free to call me at my toll free number at 1-877-CompJoe (266-7563). Good luck. ........... Joe Spingola
