Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

Returning to work against Medical Advise

To whom it may concern:

My problem is that my doctors order that I was

not fit for work was overruled by the companies

doctor and I was told to report for duty. My

personal physician then imposed restriction and

the company has since refused my needed second

surgery and is basically holding my health hostage.

My question is, is this legal and is there

anything that I can do to fix this?

My back still needs surgery and my lawyer says

there is no remedy he is aware of.

Thanking you in advanceI

Re: Returning to work against Medical Advise

I am an attorney in Chicago. What is being done to you is part of the tactics of the insurance companies. There are some things that your lawyer should discuss with you. However, I don't know where you live and I don't know who your lawyer is. If you are in either Cook County, Lake County, DuPage County or Will County, you can call me. I'll tell you if your lawyer is experienced or not. If he is not, then I may be interested in helping you with your case. You may call me at my toll free number at 1-877-CompJoe or visit my web site at www.compjoe.com.
