Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

uniform requirements

I am required to wear a uniform provided by my company but I am required to put it on before my start time is this leagal? Is the company required to pay me from the time I punch in, change, work my day and change to punch out at the end of the day?

This is not a "worker's compensation" question, it is more accurately an "employment" or "labor" issue.

Worker's compensation is an administrative proceeding to insure that injured workers receive benefits and a settlement because of a work-related accident or occupational injury.

Try your question again in a better category and an employment attorney will be able to provide some guidance.
