Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

I have been on work comp since nov 29, 2009 for a work related injury. after 5 month the employer terminated my position due to the fact that i had been inact9ve for that long. they stated it was in the handbook. the handbook is on their intranet, so i have no access toi mit. i did not think they could terminate someone on work comp.
