Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
I work in a dog kennel and a fight broke out. I got a serious bite from one of the dogs while breaking up the fight. The dog was being attcked and just grabbed onto the first thing she saw, which was my arm, while I was trying to break up the fight and take the dog to safety. There are 2 very deep punctures on my arm s well as bruising ad possibly tendon damage. Is my work responsible for my medical bills? Do I need to file a claim of my injury at work?

If you are truly an employee your work is responsible for bills. You may have a workers compensation claim. You should , at a minimum, talk to an attorney about your rights.
You MAY have a claim.
Feel free to contact me and we can discuss your situation.
