Worker's compensation

When is the employer required to carry it for the employees? And Does the employer choose the doctor or can the employee go where he/she chooses?

Re: Worker's compensation

An employer must always have workers compensation insurance for its employee(s).

There are very, very few instances when this does not apply (some family members on small family farms, etc.).

The injured worker chooses his own treating doctor.

The injured worker can choose up to two different doctors without a referral.

And the injured worker can see any other doctor (or medical provider) for treatment, testing and/or physical therapy that he was referred to by his current treating doctor. (Up to two separate, independent branches of medical treatment)

If you need additional help let me know.
