I appreciate that you are looking for the "right" amount you should get for your case; but honestly, there are so many variables that it is impossible to give you an exact amount.

You would be well served to request a free consultation, so that an attorney can review your file and give you a complete answer.

A lot depends on the nature and extent of the injury and if you have the MRI report that would be helpful as well.

It really is impossible to know what is the right answer without having seen the entire file and what the record show to be the nature and extent of the injury.

You would be well served to have the case reviewed by an attorney.

Other than that, you are simply taking a risk. Once you sign off on the contract, there is no going back.

Be careful. If you settle the case, your husband will give up his rights to all future medical treatment and it sounds as if you do not want that to happen.

You have 2 options - settle the case for an amount that you feel appropriate considering he would give up all of his future medical rights OR take his case to trial where he would receive an award by a Commissioner, which would then entitle him to medical benefits relating to his job injury in the future.

These situations are not easy. I'd be glad to help you and your husband walk through this decision and advise as to what you likely could receive for settlement. Settlement does depend on a variety of factors as some of these others attorneys have pointed out.
