I was hired as a truck adviser by a company that regulates costs for customer company cliants who need to have ther vehicles worked on for pm servicing and or repairs minor and major at independent repair shops. My job as an adviser was to take calls from all over the US and relate to the repair shop wether to do certain repairs to a clients vehicle or not.I had been at a previous job for two years and i was going by the word of the director of this company to start a new carrer with this company because of all the knowledge i have in the repair feilds of hvf trucks as well as auto's,med to sml trucks, hvy earth moving equiptment and fork lift trucks. After being employed by this company i was told i will be trained to do this job for 90 days.Within the time i was there, for the two months,i was only on the phone system for five weeks and within that time i had to self teach myself to adapt to this new type of job.My manager at the location i was at was not the same director manager who hired me.The office manager was also new was having family problems with his father' health and hospital visits and did not give me enough instructions to do my job.Though i had poor suppervision i took more calls then veteran advisers and was fired.
