Dear advocate;

Ashutosh Anand and Jayesh Desai,

Regarding my query day before yesterday about BSNL bill recovery, here I want to know whether Govt. Company at any time irrespective of 3 year recovery period can recover the dues? As the account section head was telling me that Govt.Company can recover the amount at any time period and law is not applicable to such organization is it so? pl. Advise the details.

If the dues are classified as recoverable as land revenue, then yes, otherwise no. In any event, today BSNL is a corporate entity and no more a Dept of Telecommunication, which it used to be. Hence, the law of limitation, would apply to it.
