can my neighbor mortgage my land

i just got a letter from the department of deeds so i went to check it out and found out that my land to which i alone posses a deed to has been mortgaged to a a well known bank now what do i do to get my land back and what type of legal action should i take i need you're help please

Since you have not given complete details it is not possible to give an answer to your question. It will require going through all the documents before any advice is given. However, taking prima facie view it can be said that you need to file suit for cancilation of mortgage deed as well as declaration regarding your ownership.

Firstly lodged a complaint with police as itis case of fraud/cheating/forgery and the filea case for declaration and permanent Injunction.

You shave good cause of action u can prosecute the ur neighbor for 420 and also can sue the bank and neighbors for the fraud and cancellation of the deeds which has casted clouds over ur title.
