Divorce is not possible just at the drop of hat. u have to come with in the specified reasons/grounds.The reasons could be cruelty, desertion, adultry and many more. U have to specify the specific reason. In case u have deserted ur husband u cannot take advantage of ur own wrong

Please provide me following information :

(a) Religion of both of you at the time of marriage;

(b) change in religion, if any, after marrage; i.e. religious status as on date;

(c) reasons for separation.

The law does not provide divorce just for the asking; you need to have grounds which will entitle you to seek divorce; the grounds available to you should stand scrutiny of law; please let me know your reasons and evidence in support of your reasons to enable me to guide you effectively.

You have not mentioned the circumstances and or reasons for not having relation for the last one year with your husband, rather you have also not stated the year of your marriage so it is very difflicult for me answer your query.

By merely saying that you donot want to live with your husband, is no valid ground of divorce. You have to disclosed and mentioned the ground for obtainning the divorce by fulfilling the basic requirement of prevailing law whatsoever is applicable in your case. change of religion,

further divorse can be granted on the ground cruelty, incapabality, change of religion.

i would suggest you to try to continue your marriage and dont break it, if there is even a little hope of reconcilliation

By simply saying that you do not have relation with your husband since one year. Is it can be issue to take divorce. please send me more details to me or contact any Advocate.
