Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

Can I approach right to information act??

Dear Sirs

This is a community society(registered) with about 2000 members and it has been in existence for past 90 years.

Some of the office bearers are holding the society without letting anyone get in as the office bearers.

I have gotten about 300 members enrolled for which all are given membership card and their membership charges were collected and accounted in audits.

But the devious old office bearers not recognizing the members bcos there is a clause stating that executive committe's approval is needed to permit new members.

when so many members about 405 to be precise have been issued with cards and monies collected-- can I seek right to information act to ask them to conduct enquiry asking the president and issue an order not to hold elections if all the members are not sent the AGM and election notices?
