Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
Name change reg
I named my daughter--name removed--Thangam, her age 7 years, persently residing at Kanchipuram (State : tamil Nadu). Her birth at Senkottai (Nellai Dt, TN) and got Birth certificate from their only. I would like to change her name. Please let me know the procedure for the same.

You may file an affidavit with her name change. You may proceed to the Zonal Office and do the executive magistrate.
