child name change

I want to change my sons name in birth certificate old name ,as despute with husband, wants to change name so what can i do as their are many difficulties pls suggest

consult a lawyer and issue a paper publication

and also a gazette publication

get it done - send a copy of it to the concerned local body and reuest them to issue the birth certificate in the changed name.

difficulties? what is the age of your son? generally you can file a affidavit regarding name in change

if he has not gone to school then u need not to do anything ... just get his name registered with the new one.

if he is in school then different schools have different modes to change the name..... follow their instructions.

after school you have to get the notice published in newspaper.
