Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

Cooperative Housing Soc rules

We have purchased a flat in the month of Nov08. with all the legal papers and registration. The necessary transfer fee has also been paid to the bldg. However the maintenance bills still reflects the old owner's name. My question is whether it is necessary to convene a AGM to get those change of name in maintenance bills ?

You may need to approach the Society and seek incorporation of your name as owner of the flat in records of the Society.

Generelly it should not be done/wait for AGM. It can be done by the ecxutie body. But it will depend on the bye laws of the society.
