Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
Dear Sir,
My husband passed away in Kuwait in 2007, I need to gat an legal heirship certificate from India to clear my husband's indeminty. My permmant addess in India is Mumbai and my husband hails from Unnao -UP. From where can get this document and what is th time span required. my mother in-law has also passed away as she had handed the power of attorney to me.

To clear your husband's indemnity ( liability) you do not need a legal heirship certificate. You can apply for the same in Mumbai. The power of attorney lapses.
